good stuff

Customer gasps in discomfort after drinking bootleg liquor.

Waiter: “Good stuff, huh, bud?”

Customer: “I suppose it’s right off the boat, eh?”

Waiter: “Yeah, they scraped it off.”

Two unknown bit-players in MR. SKEFFINGTON, written by Julius and Philip Epstein, from the novel by Elizabeth Von Arnim. Directed by Vincent Sherman.

LOTS of good lines in this!

dada

“Da-da, how’d you get to be so little?”

~ Little girl speaking to Claude Rains in MR. SKEFFINGTON, written by Julius and Philip Epstein, from the novel by Elizabeth Von Arnim, directed by Vincent Sherman.

Or it COULD be, “Da-da, how’d I get to be so little?” It’s a great line reading for a two-year old, but it’s not 100% clear.

Fiona prefers Version 0.1.

I guess I like them both about equally.
