
No intertitles this early, but we ARE in silent movie terrain over at The Chiseler, studying the implications of Méliès’ detachable head. Collaboration with Daniel Riccuito seems to go very smoothly when he asks me for a list or a sentence: he’s very adept at turning fragments into full things, which often work in ways I wasn’t even thinking of when I contributed my section. And the joins seem to not show: you are invited to guess which bits of this piece were sneezed up by whom.
