From Poverty to Eternity
That’s the last of these for 2017. If it weren’t for the pervasive sense of the world going to hell in a hefty handbasket, I would say that I had a decent year. I’m less overworked as a teacher and more overworked as a critic and filmmaker, which is the way I like it. And I might potentially earn more than I spend. If we can just stave off apocalypse long enough for me to enjoy it. Happy New Year, everyone. Let’s aim to have Trump and his entire cabinet jailed by this time 2018.

“The Tunnel of Living Beauty” … actually pretty close to a “fear-chilled nightmare” if you think about it.

I don’t know that I’ve done nearly enough over the past year to convey to you just how much sheer joy these have brought me. They (and by association their creator) are sheer genius.

“The Tunnel” is a Busby Berkeley creation, which are often somewhat terrifying.
Aw, thanks.

I love your trailer montages, can seldom get thru one without chuckling audibly at at least one point. They are also one of the few things that play better on a phone than on a screen. Please let’s have more in 2018. Happy New Year!

Let’s hope that “the Tunnel of Living Beauty” doesn’t end in W.C. Fields’ “wall of human flesh”. Happy New Year, David!
