Watch the Birdie

This fortnight’s Forgotten is now available — and this time you can watch the film as well as reading about it. Better yet, the film is Raoul Servais’ 8-minute comic horror HARPYA, which must be seen to be disbelieved.

  1. Never heard of this one and would love to see it in better quality than this Youtube version. I have to admit I am still not sure what to make of it.

  2. The more I think about it, the more inescapable the male anxiety interpretation becomes. The man-about-town lets a female into his home, and his natural appetites are suppressed, his life becomes a thwart disnatured torment, and his lower parts are ripped off. It’s kind of all there, isn’t it?

  3. Yes…. I like that interpretation
