I’ve already written a little about L’Herbier’s stunning LE BONHEUR, but I couldn’t help myself and did it again for The Forgotten this week. It’s the kind of film you’re supposed to call “a meditation on the power of cinema,” except that “conjuration” might be a better word for what L’Herbier is attempting.

Also, I’ve co-authored a limerick on Charles McGraw, as you do.
