Although this film was never completed, it’s important to note that “We Can’t Go Home Again” premiered in the Cannes Film Festival in May 1973, two years after the production began.

Thanks, Tom. As I understand it, that’s the version of the film which still exists, while the later re-edit was destroyed? At any rate, the news that the film may be finished soon is heartening. A double bill with The Other Side of the Wind would be a cinephile’s dream.
