The Shadowplay Tape
A little something to occupy you while I see films at the Edinburgh Film Fest on your behalf.
(Re-glancing at the programme of press screenings alerts me to the fact that I am a whole week early and so I will be making my own entertainment today. Also, I better learn to read programmes better than that if I’m going to make a go of this Festival malarkey.)
Shadowplay now has a soundtrack. Click HERE and a little window will open. This is my MUXTAPE. Whatever that is. Click the songs to play and then rove around in Shadowplay, using the SEARCH function to dig up old posts you’ve forgotten about, and enjoy the multimedia experience that is SHADOWPLAY: THE MUSICAL.
“Let’s revisit the scenes of our youth!”
STOP PRESS: Muxtape was shut down by music industry assholes. I leave this post here as mute testimony to their gaping assholishness. Sorry you can’t enjoy my tunes.

Sorry to divert yet again but can anyone on here recommend any “useful resources on the depiction of sex and sexuality in Film”. I don’t know if I’ve ever read anything on the topic so can’t help my friend out. Thanks in advance.

YOU’VE never read anything on the subject? I find that very hard to believe!

Heh! “I like to remember things my own way.”
What I meant was, I’ve never read an entire book solely devoted to the topic… but I’m guessing by the use of the word ‘resources’ that URLs are the predominant requirement…

I don’t know of a serious website on the subject, I think he shd just get down the library. PLENTY of books. Maybe Eros and the Cinema?

Oh, and maybe the above post will help with the sex resourcing.
