The Whirlwind of Paris

Another Duvivier retrospective! Since I went to the one in New York, and since this one’s just across the water in Paris, and since a chunk of it coincides with my Easter break, maybe I should go?

Let’s see: Paris, a bunch of Duvivier movies, a break from routine. I’m struggling to find the contrary arguments. Are there particular treasures there from your perspective? I can’t recall which ones you’ve seen by this stage!

There seem to be a couple dpzen I haven’t seen! The downside would be the probable lack of subtitles, but the silents would be more or less comprehensible and seeing the American films on the big screen would be a blast.
