		<description>I recall Shelley Duvall saying that not only did she feel destined to play Olive -- as so many people said she would just as everyone told Stephen Fry he was destined to play Oscar Wilde -- but she thought that after the greulling shoot of &lt;i&gt;The Shining&lt;/i&gt; "where I had to cry all the time," &lt;i&gt;Popeye&lt;/i&gt; would make for a nice change. 

It's not at all uninteresting. 

Van Dyke Parks (who did the musical arrangements) can be spotted on-screen in the band. This is his first appearance in a movie since he co-starred with Grace Kelly in &lt;i&gt;The Swan&lt;/i&gt;</description>
