Allen, according to my dream, Allen hated Dassin for the rest of his life for limiting him to that one line. (Though, really, if you were going to limit Allen's acting career to one line, doesn't that one seem right?) I can't by any means tell you what it all means, but I thought you'd enjoy hearing about it.
